Deckshot filled in for Dave Freeman and called the meeting of the Corvette
Club to order. The meeting was
held at Sunrise Chevrolet in Collierville.
Dinner Gordon
Dodge made arrangements for the dinner at Olive Garden Treasurer’s
Report Susan
Allen and gave the treasurer’s report.
The checking account balance as of November 30, 2009 was $4,975.45.
The charity savings account balance as of November 30, 2009 was
$431.70. Susan reminded people
that the dues for next year are due. Membership Shirley
Jones introduced two new members. Newsletter No

Hochstein filled in for Barb Cardinal and reported that the October meeting
minutes with corrections has been posted on the club’s website.
She distributed a draft of the November meeting minutes and asked for
corrections. Corvette

Business Craig
presented Gordon Dodge with a plaque and thanked him for his service as
president. Craig
said that an audit report will be made before the February meeting. Photos
of Tina’s bench were circulated and there was discussion about arranging
for a caravan to go to the Corvette Museum in April to see it.
A volunteer to coordinate this activity is needed. Craig
said that this year the executive board will plan the activities.
They will try to plan more one day events. Gordon
agreed to coordinate the mystery cruise for the 1st quarter of
the year. We need a volunteer
for the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Lynda
Dodge thanked everyone for their help with the Baptist Children’s Home
Christmas part. Craig
thanked Barb Kaferle for her coordination of the Christmas party.
Everyone had a great time. Chuck
Wombough thanked the members who helped with the car show.
The Knights of Columbus will have the show again on September 11th. Cathy
Gardner is the currently the club’s ambassador to the Corvette Museum.
She is willing to surrender this role to someone else it they would
like to take it on. Activities Valentines

event is being coordinated by Ann Hamblin.
She distributed a flyer and asked everyone to make their payment out
to the club by Feb. 1st because the club will pay Jim’s East
Steakhouse with one check. Jim’s
East Steakhouse Sat.
Feb. 6th at 6:30 All
inclusive - $32 chicken, $43 Salmon, $48 Fillet
